Draft ratio, in flat wire drafting, the multiple of the drawn length of split wire (billet wire) per unit length, or described as the ratio of the drawing speed to the drawing speed is the draft ratio.
Draft ratio is the most important process index in flat wire production, also known as draft ratio, draw ratio. The drawing of the flat wire is a one-way drawing below the melting point temperature. The drawing process is an orientation process so that the flat wire can obtain high strength and other physical-mechanical properties. In general, the drawing ratio is controlled at 4-7 times, and for special needs, the drawing ratio can be up to 11 times.
